From the beaches of Barbados to centuries in Southampton, Sydney and Mumbai, Jacob Bethell has spent his entire cricketing career with a Gunn & Moore bat in hand.
Starting with a size one Apex, through to the Maxi he scored his Ashes hundred in Sydney with, Bethell has made history along the way, becoming the youngest English player to score centuries in every format.
He now embarks on a new multi-year partnership which will include a bespoke range tailored to the left-hander, released later this year.
"My first bat was a size one Apex," said Bethell.
"Gunn & Moore is an incredibly special brand."
"I loved using it as a kid and have had the privilege of playing with it for my whole professional career."
Thrust into the international arena at an early age, his century against South Africa at Southampton in September 2025 kickstarted a six-month period in which he would write his name into the history books.
Cementing his credentials at number three in the Three Lions’ Test team with an Ashes hundred in Sydney, a scintillating 48-ball 105 in the T20 World Cup semi-final against India completed the set.
“The Ashes knock in Sydney is definitely my favourite but the World Cup 100 is right up there,” said Bethell.
“Moving forward my goal is to win silverware for England and be a consistent performer and I’m excited to do that with a GM in hand.”
